The number of electric vehicles on German roads is growing steadily. With the shift to electromobility, maintenance requirements are also changing significantly. Electric cars do not have a combustion engine, so oil changes, spark plugs and timing belt replacements are no longer necessary. However, this does not mean that electric cars are maintenance-free.
The most important maintenance tasks for electric cars include: high-voltage battery care, brake maintenance (less worn due to regenerative braking), air conditioning, battery and electronics cooling system, as well as tyre monitoring (higher vehicle weight means more tyre wear).
ENBA-certified workshops specialise in the maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles. Our technicians hold the required high-voltage certification and the necessary equipment for safe and professional maintenance.
