The main vehicle inspection (HU), commonly known as "TÜV", is required by law in Germany. New vehicles are first inspected after three years, then every two years. The inspection covers around 200 check points and evaluates brakes, steering, lighting, emissions and many other safety features.
If defects are found, you receive either an orange sticker (minor defects, need to be rectified promptly) or a red sticker (significant defects, vehicle must not be driven). A green sticker means no defects were found.
ENBA helps you prepare your vehicle optimally for the main inspection. Our workshop partners carry out a pre-inspection so you can attend the TÜV appointment with confidence.
