Storing Tyres: Tips for Proper Storage

Proper tyre storage significantly extends their service life. Tyres should always be stored in a cool, dry and dark place, away from heat sources, UV radiation and ozone-generating devices such as electric motors or neon lamps.

Tyres without rims should be stored upright and rotated approximately 90 degrees regularly to prevent deformation. Tyres with rims can be stored hanging or stacked lying down. Wash the tyres before storage and treat them with a suitable rubber care product.

If you don't have suitable storage facilities, ENBA partner workshops offer professional tyre hotels. Your set of tyres is stored professionally and can be fitted directly when the seasonal change comes around.
